Genius Recycled
Sometimes my brain just sits in my head not utilized. Sometimes I’m aching for an epiphany but nothing comes. Sometimes I try very hard to engage my mind - in a forceful, threatening kind of way - but get nair a response… Like it is actually not connected to me. Maybe it doesn’t appreciate coercion.
And maybe, just maybe… it’s working behind the scenes. Maybe it’s being utilized by an alternate reality. Say, my other-dimensional self needs it more at that moment.
I dunno.
The thing is - What I want to do with it right now is think of ingenius ways to utilize waste. Many people do it. They make countertops out of recycled windshields, for instance. They make cute little dolls out of discarded clothing. They make clothes out of tires. And in return for their genius, artistry and can-do, they are paid.
These creators give us something to think about, something re-visioned and re-utilized. Their idea and product benefits mother earth. They are thus able to pay the rent (and hopefully so much more).
I think today’s genius - in this economy and the with state of our planet - is hidden here. And I want in. Because money earned in this manner comes from the clearest conscience, and helps keep our world spinning on good intentions.
