Serendipity & Synchronicity

Published by melnoel at 6:17 pm under Serendipity/Synchronicity Edit This

Serendipity is finding pleasant or valuable things not actively or consciously sought after. The word ’serendipity’ comes from an old Persian fairytale about the ‘Princes of Serendip’. The word literally translates, ‘A dip in serenity!’ Serendipity shows us that while it’s fine to pursue specific things, you might not always get them. You might, however, find something even more wonderful than you had imagined.

Synchronicity is the hidden interconnectedness and meaning between events that appear separate and coincidental. We call things coincidental, chanceful, random or unconnected if we cannot see or explain their connections. But there are patterns to everything, as Quantum Physics proves.

There are patterns to our dreams, our lives and all the energies that vibrate throughout the universe. Usually, we summon the serendipity and synchronicity into our lives unknowingly; our personal lives crossing over, meshing with the universal.

But all of these signs - especially the fantastic, hard-to-believe ones - are pointing us in the most enchanted direction we can go. And the more we follow them, the more they guide us.
