Me & a Sports Car… Meant to Be?
We didn’t know that’s what it was at the time, but my brother made me my very first vision board when I was about 9. He cut out pictures of Porsches and glued them to a crude, thick block of 70s-style corkboard. He hung it over a door so I could see it when lying in bed. We took bets that I’d have my first Porsche by the age of 22 or something like that.
I have since gotten more “practical”, driving the same loving Saturn Coupe around for 12+ years. But as she ages and I grapple with knowing I will lose her one day, I wonder what will be next?
Today, these words caught my eye: “Stop all these self-sabotaging thoughts about a certain amount of money being too much for you, a certain car, house or thing being too amazing for you. Treat all wealth, people and things the same no matter how awesome and amazing they seem. When you can expand your comfort zone to include all good things, you will be in total vibrational resonance with all of them.”
Do I still want a Porsche? Not really. But something similarly symbolic, something that fits me even better now… like say, a Saturn Sky… Now, that would be sweet.
