I seem to daydream in decades, fantasize in eras…

I’m not exactly sure what I mean by this, but I’m beginning to uncover some tendencies within my psyche.

I don’t know where it all stems from, but I visualize in strong pockets of space and time. For instance, I often get strong visions of different eras, times, spaces and feels. And these influence much of my life in the here and now; the way I decorate, how I clothe myself, what I seek – and – how I feel.

I can only liken it to being reincarnated several times, and retaining some of the memories of them imbedded within my soul. It could possibly be collective memories, but this explanation doesn’t seem as full or fitting. I often wonder if I time travel in my dreams, bringing back with me only impressions of my visits. And I wonder, too, if I travel forward as well.

In the meantime, I cherish these visions that inspire my days and nights. For they bring something to my everyday life that seems might otherwise be missing.
